Better Together Performing Arts Academy lets youths with disabilities shine

In the “Alice in Wonderland” universe, Tweedledee and Tweedledum absurdly try to enact a nursery rhyme in which they agree to do battle but never quite do. In “Mad Tea Party,” the young actors with disabilities at Better Together Performing Arts Academy transform Lewis Carroll’s dense Victorian dialogue into a hip-hop dance number.

The accessible version lets the players show off their creative talents, and the audience gets to see something unique.
