Out of the Depths
Out of the Depths takes a raw look into the lives of those who deal with mental illness, and shines a light on common misconceptions and taboos surrounding the subject of mental health. Join us as we dive deep into the minds of everyday people who courageously battle the storms of mental illness. The refreshingly real stories spark a roller coaster of emotions in their viewers as we follow the journey of five people living with various mental illnesses. The stories are portrayed through singers, dancers, actors, real-life interviews, film, art, and monologues. All forms of art are fused together and presented in a cohesive yet artful performance that will leave its viewers breathless.

The Boys Next Door
The Boys Next Door was written in the early 1980s by Tom Griffin. Originally titled, Damaged Hearts, Broken Flowers, the play was fortunately renamed and revised for a 1987 production at the Berkshire Theatre Festival. The Boys Next Door is a two-act comedy-drama about four intellectually disabled men who live together in a small apartment — and Jack, the caring social worker who is on the verge of career burn-out. Project fusion takes the viewer on an immersive experience through the eyes of artists living with disabilities. This unique blend of theatricality and film brings not only the disabled experience to life but the human experience. The inclusive performance features a beautiful fusion of artists of all ages, backgrounds, and abilities. Professional actors join forces with aspiring actors in this comedic yet profound creation.
Project Fusion was co-written by filmmaker Scott Jackman and director Adrienne Shearer. The inspiration comes directly from the duos hands-on experience working with under-served populations. Shearer says “I don’t know what our story will be about until I meet the actors in it. The talent inspires the script. Each person has a story and everyone’s story matters. Our mission is not product-driven but people-driven.” Project Fusion is a family-friendly show that aims to entertain, educate, and inspire.
